How your fitness club can give back to your community this holiday season

There are many ways that your fitness club can give back to your community and we will discuss a few of them in this blog post. One great way to give back is by donating to local charities. Another way is to offer discounts or free services to people in need. You can also hold events or fundraisers to benefit local organizations. Whatever you choose to do, make sure it is something that your community will appreciate!

PICK A FAVORITE LOCAL CHARITY

Giving back to your community is an important part of being a successful business. As a fitness club owner, you already give the gift of health with your services. Why not become part of something greater and try a 10 for 10 promotion? Offer 10 days of fitness for $10 and donate some or all of your proceeds to your favorite local charity or food bank.

ORGANIZE A TOYS FOR TOTS PROMOTION

One great way to give back is by supporting organizations like Toys For Tots. You can either collect toys or food at the club or could offer discounts on monthly memberships if members donate a toy or non-perishable food item.

DESIGN A HOLIDAY FITNESS CHALLENGE

Give back to your community by giving them the gift of health by getting them moving with a holiday fitness challenge. Whether it is a fun run or fitness challenge on social media, encourage your members and community to get active this holiday season! Consider offering prizes to those who complete the challenge, like entering participants’ names for a one-year membership to your club.

Consider “giving back” by offering a discounted 6-week challenge like “I lost it at the club”. to help members burn off all the calories eaten during the holidays and to start on their New Year fitness goals.

HOLD A HOLIDAY HEALTH FAIR

Hold a Health Fair at your club which allow your members and their friends to learn about ways to stay healthy and active over the holidays. Hold fitness demonstrations that teach your community some fitness ideas that they can do to keep active.

Have your nutritionists create and offer healthy holiday treats. If you have a smoothie bar, create and offer samples of your favorite holiday smoothie recipes.

HOLD FREE HOLIDAY GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

This gives your members the chance to invite a friend to work out with them. New potential members will get a chance to experience your club for themselves. To keep things more entertaining, make your group fitness classes holiday themed and consider giving gifts of FREE 7-day VIP passes to those who attend and discounts on full memberships to those who join during their 7-day VIP visit.

Whatever you choose to do this holiday season, remember that giving back is important for both your club and your community! By getting involved and supporting local organizations, you can make a positive impact on the lives of those around you. After all, the holiday season is a time for giving, and there is no better way to give back than by supporting those around you.
